The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it is actually alarmed regarding the superior range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area each day. The service place developed for intervention encounters a superior sassa status check influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out sassa status check programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more means to allow the servicing of all clients and maximize access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
